Perfect size for a family that loves comfort and enough space to move around.
It is spacious has a pull down TV for the kids to enjoy. It is a older vehicle but drives really smooth it has Bose speakers. Leather seats, ac runs really cold for the hot summer months. This vehicle is good for large families or families that travel a lot etc. I haven't really had any problems with is just your typical maintenance on it. Enough cup holders. Enough space in the trunk area too. You could fold up the back seating.

Big 2014 white GMC Yukon family size.
The car is nice and big it drives and is smooth. It is an automatic. It has high seats and you can move the seats up and close. There is a lot of space. You feel safe in the vehicle because the size of the car. You can drive smoothly to where you need to be and has a charging plug to charge your phone, has Bluetooth and has radio. They have heater and coolers. The vents are in different areas of the car so you can feel the air.

Black GMC Yukon Denali with electric issues.
My truck has been lowered and I love the look and it makes getting kids into a car seat easier. It does not have great gas mileage but it is big enough for shopping trips. It rides great and it looks good. I have had some electrical issues with it. The buttons work backwards now for some reason. I bought it used.

Great family vehicle for traveling.
So far so good. No issues and very reliable. Amazing performance, strong engine for a big truck. It does not have a heavy ride feel to it. Great on gas which I was amazed to find out. Once you accelerate the speed picks up very quickly. Very roomy inside with ample trunk space. Great for long traveling with a big family.

6.2 liter engine and towing capacity.
It is great. The 6.2 liter engine is very reliable and has a lot of power. The towing capacity is higher with the 6.2 liter engine as well. The entertainment center includes two DVD players, which is great for the kids. The leather wrapped heated steering wheel is great during the cold winter.

I love how spacious the Yukon is.
I love my car. I have had no problems with it at all and I have almost 70 thousand miles on it. I have for kids and this car is spacious with the captains seats in the middle row. It is seats 7 so when one of my kids has a friend over we can still all fit if we want or need to go anywhere. I would definitely recommend this car to any size family.

Overall worth its price and is a well made car.
It drives smoothly and is very reliable when going long distances. I have had very few problems with the car, so I have not had to pay for much extra care. The gas mileage is pretty good, but a full tank is pretty expensive. Overall the car is well-made and is worth the money.

Car looks and drives great.
Comfort is great, miles are crappy which expected for large vehicle. With five kids and their friends it is a great vehicle to transport our family to events, games and fun road trips. The air conditioning is not that great, vents could be stronger in Texas summer months

Heated seats in the first 2 rows.
The doors do not always unlock in the back. The car can feel a bit heavy and takes a while for the car to get moving. Some blind spots on the left side. Nice heated seats can adjust seats easily. 3 rows of seating. Car is safe and secure. Would recommend for a family car.

Gets good gas mileage and is high up so you have a very clear view of all the traffic
The main problem is the seats don't close up close the floor the rest on the back of the front seats.
accountCircle Michelle W
The versatility of how you can add and remove seating for any need.
Car is reliable, easy to transport a large group, roomy for tall people like my husband, we love the extra space in the back for cargo when traveling, enjoy the sound system.

Drives like a car but still feels very large to me. Would rather of had just the regular and not the XL
We have the Yukon XL because we have 2 kids that play ice hockey and we need a large car for their equipment. We have had problems with engine (rebuilt last year), air conditioning, brakes (larger car go through breaks faster)

I like that the trunk will lift up automatically.
It is the best family vehicle I have ever owned. Comfortable for me be my kids. The captain seats in the middle row makes easy access to the third row and allows the kids to be more comfortable. It also drives nicely. I also like how the third row seats go down automatically when needed.

Poor visibility from A posts
This vehicle is rock solid but with one major safety concern that I have experienced That is the width of the driver side A post which is about 6 inches thick and creates a problem viewing pedestrians crossing in the opposite direction at lights and stops when you are making a left turn.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Carrie S.

It has a large trunk. It can easily seat 7 people. It is good in snow, safe and heavy. I like that it has leather seats, heated steering wheel, DVD entertainment system. It is able to easily tow our boat.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Carrie S.

The vehicle has had some suspension and transmission issues. It is a gas hog and is a poor choice for the environment. The tires seem to be rusting. The engine is loud. That is all I have for the cons!

Is The 2014 GMC Yukon A Good Value?

I bought it used from my parents with 50,000 miles on it. I got a very good deal on it. I do not think it would be a great value to buy one brand new but used is good.
Annie H.
I paid right at $50,000. I bought a demo from the dealership so it was new but had some miles on it. Do I think it is overpriced - yes. Did I buy it anyway, yes.
